Amy B. Lauten


Amy Bryant Lauten represents clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She began her legal career defending doctors against medical malpractice claims and uses that knowledge and experience to evaluate and pursue her client’s claims against negligent providers.

Amy has extensive litigation experience representing clients in personal injury cases including wrongful death, medical malpractice and car wrecks as well as commercial cases including contract disputes, first party insurance disputes, bad faith insurance litigation, trade secrets and proprietary information, breach of fiduciary duty cases, declaratory judgment actions, and unfair competition claims.

Amy attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Plan II Honors. She then went on to attend Southern Methodist University School of Law where she was awarded the National Order of the Barristers recognition for her trial and appellate advocacy skills.
